Clearing G5x Offsets in Kinetic Control

Sometimes the machine might not go to the expected coordinate point. When this occurs, it is important to clear the G5x offsets to return the Work Coordinate System (WCS) origin back to machine’s center of rotation.

To clear the G5x offsets, navigate to the SETUP page.

Open

Locate the Work Offsets section.

Open

Click on the G5x offset dropdown.

Kinetic Control defaults to G54 offsets. Select the G5x offset that you are using, then click on CLEAR CURRENT SYSTEM. The G5x work offsets are now reset.
