Occasionally, a program will encounter an error and stop or the operator will stop a program using the E-STOP button. This can put Kinetic Control in a state that does not allow the operator to navigate back to the program’s original work offset system.

Below is a screenshot taken of Kinetic Control when a program using RWO (Rotated Work Offsets) is stopped before the program ends. Notice that the work offsets now display G59.3. This is the temporary work offset space the G5x work offsets are stored in when using RWO.

If G54 was the program’s work offset system and the program was stopped due to an error or the E-Stop button, then instead of selecting ‘Use G54’, select any other work offset system ('Use G55' for instance).

Now select the ‘Use G54’.

The G54 works offsets will now be displayed.
